National Tour Cast of Mary Poppins Will Host ‘Supercal’ Cabaret Night at Missie B’s

The cast of Mary Poppins will perform a one-night-only cabaret show, “Mary After Midnight,” at Missie B’s on April 11 at 11PM. Actors from the show (currently playing Kansas City’s Municipal Auditorium Music Hall through April 14) will perform live numbers and hold prize giveaways. Proceeds from the event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS.

Mary Poppins is the story of the Banks family who needs a new nanny for their children, Jane and Michael. When a mysterious young woman named Mary Poppins appears at their doorstep, the family finds that she’s the answer to their problems, but in ways they’ve never imagined. Featuring the same beloved score by Richard M. Sherman and Robert B. Sherman from the 1964 movie, Mary Poppins features “A Spoonful of Sugar,” "Chim Chim Cher-ee” and “Step In Time” as well as new numbers written specifically for the stage musical.

The show stars Madeline Trumble as Mary Poppins, Con O'Shea-Creal as Bert, Chris Hoch as Mr. Banks and Kerry Conte as Mrs. Banks.

Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS is the nation’s leading industry-based, non-profit AIDS fundraising and grant-making organization. By drawing upon the talents, resources and generosity of the American theater community, BC/EFA raises funds for AIDS-related causes and other critical illnesses across the United States.
